1.I forget my password or username, how can I retrieve it?

Click http://www.aimoo.com/login/Forgotpassword.html to retrieve.
2.How do I change my password?

First log into your Aimoo account, and then get into Control Panel >Profile Update> Account > Modify Password.
3.Can I change my email address? How to change?

Sure, first make sure that you have logged into your Aimoo account, and then access Control Panel >Profile Update> Profile > Edit profile.
4.How do I change my avatar?

Start by making sure that your have logged into your Aimoo account, then access Control Panel > Profile Update>Profile > Edit profile > change my avatar.
5.Can I have more than one account?

You can register more than one account as you like.
6.How can I add images or links to my signature?

Access your Control Panel > Profile Update > Profile >Edit Profile and enter UBB Code in the signature table.
7.How do I cancel my account?

Make sure that you successfully logged into your account, and then access your Control Panel > Profile Update > Account > Delete Account. You may choose to keep your posts or not. Once your account is deleted, none of the content in your account is available and it cannot be restored!
8.How do I hide some parts of my profile to others?

First log into your Aimoo account, and then get into Control Panel> Profile Update > Profile > Profile Visibility, untick options to decide whether to display to others.
9.How to add friends and approve them?

Add friends under the Control Panel > Profile Update > Friends > Add Friends, and approve them under the Control Panel > Profile Update > Friends > Friends Request.
10.How do I change my location on Google Map of my profile?

Send Private Message to Administrator of the longitude and latitude of your correct location.
11.What is iAimoo for?

iAimoo is a page to contain your profile info, forums list, friend updates and etc. It's only visible to yourself and reminds you to check anything you care on Aimoo.
12.Does Aimoo charge for creating an account?

1.How many Forums can I own on Aimoo?

Each member can create 5 Forums on Aimoo online forum.
2.How can I get the Forum Domain like http://domain.aimoo.com?

Here at Aimoo you can have 2 addresses for your forum. One is http://forum1.aimoo.com/domain or http://forum2.aimoo.com/domain or http://forum3.aimoo.com/domain , the other one is http://domain.aimoo.com/. The later one is easy to remember but only for Diamond Forum.
Start by making sure that you logged into your Aimoo account, and then access Control Panel >Forum Management >Main Setting>Forum Info, and you can see Click here to mod your forum web address (Only available for Diamond forum).
3.How do I find forums I am interested in?

Please access the URL http://www.aimoo.com/Forums.html. You may click Forums on the top left menu of Aimoo front page, then you will see the Recent Hot Forums / Newest Forums.
4.I want to become a member of one forum, what should I do?

On the top right of every forum page, you will see several links including Join, click on it.
5.I have already clicked on Join link, but I am still not the member, why?

If the owner/admin of the forum has set to agree before new member's joining, you have to wait for the owner/admin approval, and then you'll get the notification in your inbox.
6.How do I cancel my membership of a forum?

Just access your Control Panel > Forum Management > Forum Switch > Forum List, click "Unjoin" button, click here to lean more.
7.How can I add images to my post?

There are several ways to insert images to the post, please click here to view details.
8.Can I use PhotoBucket Icon to Add an Image?

9.Can I use HTML Method of Copying an Image from PhotoBucket

10.Would you please tell me why I cannot upload images from my computer?

11.Can I insert media?

Click Insert embedded media icon in advanced editor, then upload your video. Or you could insert video by clicking Youtube icon .
12.How can I upgrade my membership?

If you're already a member of one local forum, you may see ‘Upgrade' link on the top right of every forum page, just click on it.
13.I am a member of a forum, why I can’t edit or delete or quote posts?

That is because the forum owner/admin hasn't designated the permissions to you.
14.I want my status don’t show on “Who’s on” page, can I?

Please access Control Panel > Profile Update > Profile > Edit Profile, select stay invisible, then you will not be listed as online on "who's on" page.
15.Why my IP numbers shown in “Who’s on” page?

The forum owner may select to display the users' IP address in the ' Who's on ' section under the Control Panel > Forum Management > Main Setting > Preferences.
16.How do I create multiple categories?

As a forum owner, go to Control Panel > Forum Management > Main Setting > Category and set categories up then sub-categories up. P.S. You cannot post message without sub-categories.
17.What is Aimoo donation chest?

The donation chest contains the money your sponsors donated to your forum.
18.How can I link other websites to my posts?

First input the text you want to link to, then highlight it and click on the icon in the tool bar of the advanced editor, add the URL you want to link to the input box.
19.Can I delete the category Trash bin?

No, you can not delete it, you can not even add sub-category to it cos it is the category our system offer you when you create your forum, all your deleted posts will be stored here.
20.I didn’t delete my forum but it disappeared, why?

Our system will delete your forum if there’s no posts or replies for 3 months. Click here to learn more.
21.How to remove the sound when there are new messages in my inbox?

First log into your Aimoo account, and then get into Control Panel> Profile Update > Profile > Edit Profile > voice notification.

1.I want to design the header of my forum, where to find it?

Please access your forum control panel > forum management > main setting > forum info, here you may design your header, HTML code is allowed.
2.I want to edit my skin, but I don’t know where refers to by viewing these items, please help

Here if you select an item and edit it, you may view the preview below immediately.
3.I don’t like the sidebar listing so many privacy of my forum, is there a way to remove it?

Yes, please access your forum control panel > forum management > skin & style > sidebar to remove the item you don’t want to list (except personal info). The Custom HTML can be added as many as you like.

Category

1.How do I create new categories or sub-categories and set permissions?

You may access the Control Panel > Forum Management > Main Setting > Category to create. Please Click here to learn more.
2.I have created a forum but there’s no button to post a new topic, what should I do?

You should add sub-categories under each category, and then get back to your forum to open a subcategory and you'll see "New Topic" button.
3.Can I move a sub-category to another category?

Yes, go to your Control Panel > Forum Management > Main Setting > Category, find your sub-category and click on"Edit" button to move. For more details, please check here.
4.Can I hide categories?

You may access the Control Panel > Forum Management > Main Setting > Permissions > Category Settings, set privileges for different users.

Customizations

1.How do I change my current skin?

Go to your Control Panel > Forum Management > Skin & Style > My Skin Collection > Add more skins, add the skins as you like and make one as your forum skin.
2.Where can I add my head logo?

Go to your Control Panel > Forum Management > Skin & Style > Head Logo.
3.How do I change every details of my forum, such as the background, font color…?

You can go to Control Panel > Forum Management > Skin & Style > Edit My Skin, and customize every part of your forum. There are instructions once you get into the Edit function of your forum skin. Remember to hit the Submit button before previewing the changes, and then the Return button when you finish customizing so that you can save the changes.
4.How do I change my forum icon such as 'New Topic', 'Reply' icon?

Go to your Control Panel > Forum Management > Skin & Style > Forum Icon to change.
5.Is there a way to customize smileys for my forum?

Yes, add more custom smileys under your Control Panel > Forum Management > Skin & Style > Smiley.
6.I found the Emoticon Icon list under the topic title when I click on the New Topic button, can I add more?

Yes, you can. Go to your Control Panel > Forum Management > Skin & Style >Posticon.
7.I want to adjust the forum width, where can I set?

Access your Control Panel > Forum Management > Skin & Style > Forum Width to adjust.

Member

1.What’s the difference with normal and advanced members?

They are just two different member titles, Click here to learn more.
2.How to assign moderators?

Access your Control Panel > Forum Management > Members > Moderator to add new moderators for your different sub-categories.
3.Why can't I make myself a moderator or Administrator?

If you are an owner, why would you want to make yourself a Moderator or an Administrator? Your owner privileges are greater as owner.
4.How do I block anonymous users?

You may access the Control Panel > Forum Management > Main Setting > Preferences > Member > 2. Anonymous user's privilege.
5.Can I change member’s username/screen name?

Sorry, username/screen name can't be changed.
6.I don’t want anonymous users go to the chat room in my forum, what should I do?

Access the Control Panel > Forum Management > Main Setting > Preferences > Member > 1. Member's chat privilege.
7.I kicked a member in my chat room, how long will he be accessible again?

The person can access chat room after about one hour.
8.I don’t want a member to access my forum anymore, is there any possibility to do that?

You may cancel one's membership he/she under the Control Panel > Forum Management > Member to remove, or you could ban the user under Forum Management > Security > Banning.
9.How to make user rank for my members?

Access the Control Panel > Forum Management > Members > User Rank.
10.How to invite more friends to my forum?

Access the Control Panel > Forum Management > Members > Invite Member.
11.I don’t like to approve new members every time in my control panel, how can I disable it?

Access the Control Panel > Forum Management > Main Setting > Preferences > Member> 3. New members joining option.
12.How do I approve/decline new members or upgrade to advanced member?

The system will send a notification message to the forum owner to tell the new pending approvals. Then Forum owner/admin can approve/decline by accessing the Control Panel> Forum Management > Members > Pending.
13.Why members’ posts count doesn’t show under the avatar?

If they are not members of the forum, their posts will not be counted in your forum.
14.Why the time spent on forum is not correct?

Aimoo System records the time spent from member's signing in to the signing out. But if the member don't sign out and enter your forum without the account info which is saved by cookies, the time will keep counting until he/she signs out next time.
15.I don’t want to receive someone’s PM, how can I do?

Please access your inbox, there’s an ignore list on the lefe side, add the person’s usename here, Using comma to separate multi ignore users.

Forum

1.Ads are annoying, how can I remove them?

There are no ads in the Diamond Forum; you may upgrade your forum. Click http://www.aimoo.com/Sponsorship.html to learn more details.
2.Can I have a password for my forum?

Yes, access the Control Panel > Forum Management > Security > Password Protected.
3.How to promote my forum and make more people know?

Access the Control Panel > Forum Management > Promote Forum, or click http://showoff.aimoo.com/ to enter directly. Furthermore, submit your forum to our Showcase.
4.Can I put Google ads on my forum?

Yes, you can input html code of the ads under the Control Panel > Forum Management > Skin & Style > Header and Footer.
5.How to change my forum name?

Access the Control Panel > Forum Management > Main Setting > Forum Info.
6.How to delete my entire forum?

Access the Control Panel > Forum Management > Forum Switch > Forum List > Delete.
7.I have already deleted my forum, but can still see it when searching by Google?

There is an automatic cache on the search engine pages for a while; you may just wait until they remove it.
8.How to make forum offline temporarily?

Access the Control Panel > Forum Management > Main Setting > Preferences > Genera > 1. Forum online, but please be aware that forum owner could still view it even it's offline.
9.How can I check my Diamond Forum’s page view?

Access the Control Panel > Forum Management > Diamond Programs > Accounting.
10.How can I find who donated to my forum?

Access your control panel > Forum Management > Diamond Programs > Accounting Log and click 'donation' at the top left corner of the page.
11.I don’t want rude words appearing on my forum, how can I do?

Please access your forum control panel > forum management > security > forbidden words.
