“What started out as an idea, grew into a much greater idea than the original. Word Connections, although simple in it’s title, it’s meaning is complex. So complex that it cannot be defined as being one thing. It can’t be defined as just a book of poetry featuring over 100 poets from all over the US, Canada, Europe, and Africa. It can’t be defined as just a work of art that connects the deepest thoughts, emotions, ideas, and opinions of others to each other. It can’t be defined as just a bridge between the spoken and written word. It Can't be defined as a Spoken Word Showcase featuring some of the hottest poets in the world. It can't be defined as a forum where all of the greatest writers/artist of the world come to create, share, and inspire others... It can't be described as just those things because Word Connections is all of those things.
