Bharathaanjali was founded in 1990 by Guru V Balakrishnan. The school is dedicated in teaching bharatanatyam to children and adults. Formerly housed in Silat Community Centre, bharatanatyam classes were continued in Bishan North Community Club in 1996. In 2004, additional bharatanatyam classes started running at Jurong Spring Community Club. In April 2008, new bharatanatyam classes are being conducted at Kampong Kapor Road. As the student size gets bigger, in September 2010, our bharatanatyam classes has moved to a new studio at 3 Norris Road.
